When we launched the Blue Nature Alliance in 2020, we not only hoped to accelerate the pace, scale, and effectiveness of ocean conservation worldwide, but we also set out to prove that collaboration was the most effective way to do it. Since then, the Blue Nature Alliance has grown into a truly global effort, now spanning more than 44 ocean conservation engagements across 61 countries and the high seas. The network has grown to include 155 partners. Today, our collective work reaches approximately 8% of the global ocean.

Increasingly, the strength of the Alliance lies not just in its reach, but in its connectivity. Over the past year, we have deepened collaboration across regions—bringing partners together in global and regional convenings to exchange knowledge, align strategies, and replicate innovations. We are seeing the power of collective action take hold. The Alliance is no longer simply a portfolio of individual efforts, but a growing network increasingly capable of accelerating change through shared learning and coordinated action.
